Online Roulette

The roulette is one of the most famous in the world of gambling, also known people who have never set foot in a casino in their lives. It also turns out to be a very intuitive and rather simple game, within everyone's reach. As you know, there are two types of roulette : the French one, consisting of a wheel and a game table with the numbers from 1 to 36 plus zero and the American one. , which in addition to the numbers from 1 to 36 includes a box with zero and another with a double zero. The aim of the game is to guess the square on which the ball will land at the end of the spin of the wheel.

Alongside the bets relating to the exact number that will be kissed by the ball, there is the possibility of placing bets on different groups of numbers. As can be easily understood, the smaller the group of numbers on which you will place your bet, the lower the probability of winning this aspect is naturally offset by a more substantial payout potential. The numbers on the wheel are not arranged in ascending order, but according to a specific arrangement that changes depending on whether it is American or French roulette.

The different roulette bets basically fall into three categories inside bets, outside bets and announced bets.

Inside bets are those placed on the table numbers and include:

straight up : bet placed on a single number. The payout is 35 to 1.
split : bet on a pair of adjacent numbers on the casino game table. The payout is 17 to 1.
six line : bet placed on six numbers in two horizontal rows adjacent to each other on the game table. Payout: 5 to 1.
trio : bet on group 0, 1, 2 or 0, 2, 3. This bet, offered only for European roulette, offers a payout of 11 to 1.
basket : bet on the numbers 0, 1, 2 and 3. The payout is 8 to 1.
top line : available for American online roulette, it is the possibility to bet on 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. The bet yields 6 to 1.

As can be easily understood, the presence of the double zero in American roulette generates an increase in the house edge , thus going to disadvantage the player. The so called RTP remains well above 90% for both American and European roulette. The latter, however, offers an RTP of 97.3% for internal and external bets. In conclusion, if you have the opportunity to play on European roulette , do not hesitate to bet on it at the expense of the American wheel.
